It may even give the appearance of a dead tree during dry periods and revive the first rains. Getting argan oil :
The argan tree produces flowers and fruit ,
after picking the fruit is pulped to keep only nuts,
kernels are then crushed by hand with stones in order to extract almonds,
they are then roasted
then crushed in a grinding stone to get a foot thick. This tab is mixed with a little warm water and kneaded by hand until a cake that is pressed to extract Argan oil
Women's work involves removing the pulp of the fruit, then break the nuts to get the almond, which is then roasted over low heat before be ground in a traditional hand mill, the paste thus obtained is kneaded by hand with warm water, then squeezed between hands to extract the oil with a nutty taste.

The Kasbah TIZOURGAN
On a small hill rises Tizourgan Kasbah, a set of buildings that hugs the curves of the peak .
D aced kilns grasshoppers, a staircase leads to a porch slabs serving fortified streets enclosed within walls with a walkway. The burj contained the old prison. It leads to a place designed assays to dance collective that has a communal oven (afernou ljmaat). At the bottom of the square is the mosque mihrab rounded so characteristic of mosques in the region. Two tanks collect rainwater, they were not enough for all formerly the site of many small reservoirs scattered across the landscape thus complement the device.

The foundation of the granary is attested by texts dating from the late twelfth century. The private family records show four lineages have taken root on the site, the initial implementation of the houses would made in various places at the foot of the hill. From the sixteenth century, demographic pressure, people settled around the attic and append in part. This decline seems on the heights of a concurrent turbulent. The attic and the village are not as clearly separated than in the past, many parties formerly reserved to the attic were transformed into housing. Few lofts have this configuration. When a village is attached to the attic, it adjoins the commonly without annexing, Tizourgan Kasbah is one of the few villages in the area, where habitat coexists final came after the fact that place of refuge and storage. Placed on a border zone between areas controlled by the Makhzen and most troubled regions, the inhabitants could take refuge in case of emergency in Agadir which dominated the site. The saint Sidi M'zal buried nearby, tried to appease his lifetime conflicts, his descendants now holds twelve sites around. During the French occupation, the place is known for its strength. But because land is too narrow and low incomes, and also contacts these pious families had with the northern cities, the exodus, ancient phenomenon in the region, intensified from the 1950s, while new buildings are built near the road. The old village is emptied gradually leaving the site a few elderly without resources. It does not meet the Agadir when the climate allows abundant harvests. If the crop is sparse, it is retained at home.

TODAY
Recently the site has undergone rehabilitation for conversion into tourist site (guest house). The main difficulty however, lies in the fact that the region had been depleted of its substance, nobody wants to live in companions. So each action become problematic: how to convince people to live in places that produce nothing? Tourism is often seen as the only resource. For the initiators of the project, especially a starting point for other more comprehensive protection of the region .
To get to the kasbah Tizourgan where we can have tea, lunch, dinner and spend a night or several days just after the city of Agadir has to baha, the beautiful road of the Souk el Khmiss Idaw ougnidif direction tafraout, the mound seems quickly surrounded by saints and lofts more or less abandoned.
